UT Instapoll help

How do I access UT Instapoll?

You can access UT Instapoll at the 'UT Instapoll' link on the left-hand side of your Canvas course page. If you do not see this link, please contact your instructor.

You do not need to install any apps to use UT Instapoll. The Canvas Student app will allow you to access UT Instapoll from your mobile device.

I've opened UT Instapoll and don't see my polls. What now?

First, try reloading the page.

Polls are only open for a certain amount of time, set by your instructor. If you do not see the poll you are looking for, it may not be open yet, or may have been closed by your instructor after a few minutes. Your instructor should be announcing in class when polls are available, and may be displaying the poll's countdown timer on the projector. Please contact your instructor for more information.

I missed a poll. Can I still take it?

If you missed a poll, please contact your instructor. They may be willing to give you credit for the poll you missed.

How can I get other help?

Please contact your instructor for any questions about your class content, grading policies and this tool's use in your class.
