FAQ: How do I recall ('un-send') a poll that was sent?

A poll that you have sent can be 'recalled' by clicking the Recall Now button next to the poll. This will remove it from student's devices and from the grades that are sent to the gradebook. You can send a recalled poll again if you want; students who have already answered can change their answers but will not have to answer again if they want to keep the answer they originally sent.

You might want to use the Recall Now button to recall polls that you sent accidentally and want to pull back. Do not recall a poll as a way of hiding it from students; grades for recalled polls will be revoked.

If you accidentally recalled a poll and wanted to send it again, click the Send Now button next to the poll. The poll will be made available to students again. The poll will start running again and will automatically end when its timer expires, or you can click End Now to end it immediately.

You have 48 hours after sending a poll to recall it. The Recall Now button goes away after that time.
