UT Instapoll help

FAQ: How can I drop the lowest poll grades or give excused absences?

On the Reports/Grades page, you have the option to adjust Grade calculation options and Grade drop options. You are able to customize the number of polls, or folders, you wish to drop.

In order to allow room for students to accrue excused absences, consider dropping n number of polls by default for all students.

FAQ: How can I apply my own custom grading scheme?

You may want to manage your grades completely manually, if you want to apply a custom grading scheme that UT Instapoll doesn't implement. In your course's gradebook, change the UT Instapoll assignment to ungraded (or change its assignment weight to zero), and create a new gradebook column.

On the Reports/Grades page, you can download three different varieties of CSV file, with poll points grouped differently. Download one of these, make your changes, and then upload it into your course's gradebook in the new column.
